We had such a wonderful Thanksgiving as a family of 4! We went out for a hike each day and then came back and sat in the hot tub. It was so peaceful, and relaxing. We traveled with a 10 year old and 13 year old boy and the cabin was comfortable and cozy for the 4 of us. As others have said, the entry way is a sharp turn and a little hard to see in the dark, the gps also sometimes didn't work because of how remote we were, but after driving a few minutes we picked up a signal. One thing to be aware- there is not kitchen / dining table- there isn't one in the pictures, I just didn't realize it. We didn't mind this at all, there is a counter that you can sit at to eat, just wanted to mention it so others knew. Not a downside for us at all. The hot tub was hot, and we could see the stars at night from the hot tub. We loved the option to have a fire to heat the cabin. Overall I would highly recommend this place if you are looking for cozy, nature, relaxing time.

Awesome cabin close to hiking trails. Found some good restaurants in town and went to Johnson. It’s for the day. Had everything we needed to cook in the cabin which was a plus!

The house was perfect for our needs. I was disappointed when we initially arrived bc there were other homes closer than I expected, but everyone stayed to themselves and super quiet. The most noise was from my 4yr old. The host was quick to respond to my questions. The beds were amazingly comfortable. The guidebooks were very helpful. The house had so many items that most hosts never think of. My favorite was the waffle maker and box fan. The view was spectacular especially with the snow coming down. Thank you for a wonderful 20th anniversary weekend.

This was our 2nd year staying at the cabin to celebrate my partner’s birthday and it was absolutely perfect! We loved the quiet peace of the cabin and the easy accessibility of Roan mtn. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone and definitely hope to be back again!

We loved our stay here and look forward to visiting again! Such a beautiful place with a relaxing Mountain View. It was clean, cozy, and everything we could have asked for. The guide was well put together and full of ideas for things to do in the area for those who have never been. One of the best places I’ve stayed by far! Thanks again for such an awesome experience!

We had a perfect fall-getaway to Martina’s cabin. The home was clean and equipped with everything you’d need. Relaxing on the back porch was a highlight. We’d absolutely stay again! It’s a little bit of a drive to many of the High Country landmarks, but you may not want to leave the cabin! We’ll be back.

We had a lovely stay at Martina's! The house itself is great, with a fully-stocked kitchen, streaming services on the TV, and comfortable beds. The hot tub was a great added bonus! Martina was very communicative and left clear instructions on how to find the house and how to use all of the appliances. If you're looking for somewhere quiet and comfortable, I highly recommend her place!

This was a beautiful cabin with great views. If you are looking for a place to relax and escape the hustle and bustle this is the place. We also appreciated how it was well stocked with lots of cooking supplies and coffee. We would definitely stay here again.

We come every year and have always had such an amazing time. This year was particularly special because we started our stay as boyfriend and girlfriend and ended it as an engaged couple! Cant wait to come back!

Beautiful cabin and beautiful view. Loved the location and the house was very comfortable. We really enjoyed our vacation/honeymoon in this secluded home away from home. We wish the hot tub was working but managed without.
